New album drops early 2027
Seconds is Nicki Neal's sophomore full-length album. The original songs span multiple genres including pop, folk, rock, and electronic. Another independent self-produced project, the record is a reflection on things gained and lost. It is a tribute to time passing and to giving things another chance.

Happy Songs About Sad Things, Nicki Neal’s debut album, is the culmination of 10 years of writing and working in a bedroom studio. The album was largely self-produced with some input and instrumental contribution by friends, fans, and family. It features a blend of acoustic and electric guitar-driven original songs with Neal’s dreamy vocals taking center stage. Whether it’s the laid-back ambience of I Want You To Stay (featured in Starbucks stores starting in 2020), the heartbreaking longing and uncertainty of Run In the Snow, or the calming lullaby Go To Bed, one can enter a world where even difficult and complex emotions can live in a lovely space in the ears.
